Double Breaded Sarayo Crab Cakes With Panko

Here is another simple way to add Sarayo to a great dish for a unique and delish new take on an old favorite.

Mix:

  • 1/3 cup Sarayo.
  • 1 pound crab meat(drained).
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped cilantro.
  • 2 tsp minced garlic.
  • 1 tsp salt.
  • 1 tsp pepper.

Form roughly 8 to 12 portions of the mixture.

Coat the portioned cakes into flour.

Dipped the floured portion into beaten eggs (3 eggs).

Dip the mixture into the panko to form a solid crust.

Heat frying pan with olive oil or an oil of your choice.

Fry each side until you have a golden brown crust and set on a plate lined with paper towel to dap any excess oil.

Serve with a dollop of Sarayo on top and enjoy.
